  • 1.  Gets error when editing SEP policy

    Posted Mar 04, 2015 03:03 AM

    Hi.

I am getting console error "Unexpected console error. [0x8001000]" when trying to edit a policy.

I have tried doing a restart of the SEPM server, the policy i am trying to change hasn't been worked on for a while.

if i make a new group and add a policy there in the empty group i am alloved to make and edit that group.

It would seem like just one group is touched by this.

    Running RU5 and win2008

Can you move the clients to a temp group, delete the group, and re-create? I would export and save the policy as well so you can easily import back in.

    try this

"Unexpected console error [0x80010000]" appears when attempting to edit Administrator or Limited Administrator properties in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console

Have you tried it with limited admin id. Role is define as per the administrator access.

System admin has the access to modify all thechanges. Do it with system admin id and confirm the error status
