Hello,
This sounds like one of a couple of things could be going on. Generally queue related errors are caused by something else interfering with the general functioning of the program.
Most commonly this will be because of a local virus scanning software holding on to a file while it is being scanned. This would stop us from being able to manipulate the file and cause an error. I'll link the document for exclusions below. This will show you which directories should be excluded.
A second possibility would be something permissions related. So you may want to check permissions on those directories and make sure everything is in order.
As a side note errors can be fairly common in a mail filtering program. There are many ways that mail can be malformed and unable to be scanned. When going through some components of the program they will cause errors but we will generally be taken care of in a later module.
Past this, if you are having functional issues I would suggest calling in to Symantec and opening a case.
Hope this helps!
Thanks!
