    Hello,

    Iam getting error message,after installing sep ver11.0.6,i used cleanwipe tool and reinstall getting same error

    symantec endpoint protection services failed to start (2000005f),application has encounter an error  event ID:14

    Which version of cleanwipe, the latest is 12.1.4

    Also, any reason you're installing 11.0.6 which is a very old version and 11.x started EOL.

    What OS?

    version of the cleanwipe is 11.x and os version is windows XP

    You should call support and get the latest for 12.1..they will provide you download instructions. If you already have 12.1.4 download than its in the Tools directory of Part 2 download.

    Aside from that, it may not be completely removing everything. You can try manual removal

    version of the cleanwipe is 11.0.5 and we slowly upgrading to 12.1.4.few systems are pending.version of the OS is windows xp

    check if any gpo is applied to those Windows XP, since xp reached EOL, I believe you might have hardened some policies. check this

    Event ID : 14 received when Software Restriction Policy works .
