    we are trying to install SEP on a Windows 7 machine 64 but, but it gives me a weird error

    Symantec Endpoint Protection cannot be installed without 32-bit application Support

    Which version of SEP are you installing? Did you check the compatibility?

    Problem:

      When Trying to Install SEP in Win 7 bit and Win 2008 R2 64 bit Error : "Symantec Endpoint Protection cannot be installed without 32-bit application Support"

                                                 

     

    Cause :

    The 32-bit subsystem support has been removed from the server, either manually or through an automated build process. 

     

    Solution:

    In order Check Whether the 32-bit subsystem is Enabled or Disabled,

    This can be confirmed by running the following command: 

    "dism /online /get-features /format:table " 

                  

     

    Use this Command for Enabling the 32-bit subsytem 

    "dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:ServerCore-WOW64"

    Or 

    Reinstall the OS and by default the 32-bit subsytem will be enabled.
