Ghost 11.5 and wireless multicasting?
...OK... I'll wait until all of you finish laughing... :-)
Has anyone tried multicasting PCs using Ghost wirelessly? Is this even possible?
If it's possible, is it even worth it? Or would the throughput be horrid?
Thanks,

It's possible. I have seen BartPE use wireless components to make a connection and since Altiris is just a framework of different components, you could theoretically make it happen with a lot of modification since nothing is included out of the box to do that. You would need to get all NICs withall of their correct drivers and provided you used something like WinPE, you would have to recompile or verify that the components necessary for Wireless were working which I am not sure they are. If that failed, you would have to use a different methodology such as BartPE and either script it out to autostart the jobs (wireless, connect to server, etc) and set the server timeout to value X to accomodate all clients to connect up somehow.
Theoretically.
