the boot wizard can render certain USB flash drive useless and unrecognizable by windows.

It happened to me on trying to create a boot image on a Kingston brand new 4 GB flash drive when the boot wizard error out

How do you know this is not a defective USB stick?
Does Kingston provide any sort of formatting or partitioning utility for their flash drives?

Gold GSS 2.5 boot wizard (GBW) wasnt aware of some manufactures preformatting their USB stick as "super disks". It wouldnt render those as useless since you can always reformat them but GBW would silently die. If you apply Live update 1 and 2 this fixes this issue. Live update 3 is also available.

    Cheers.
