Dear All, I am using Ghost 2003 imaging software since very long time to image and deploy 32 bit OS (I have ghost bootable CD).

Now I am trying to deploy Windows 8.1 64 bit image to a laptop with win 7 32 bit (during the boot) but Ghost can not detect the external HDD where the image exist.

everything is working fine when everything is 32bit...can you please advice in details what should be done to solve this issue?

If the external disk is connected by USB, then if you are using WinPE as you boot operating system, it is likely that you are connected to a USB-3 port and therefore you will need to add USB-3 drivers to your WInPE boot disk. If it is a DOS boot disk, it will not be able to see a USB port as there is no native support for USB.

Yes it is external USB disk (detected normally when deploying 32 bit images).

How to add the USB-3 drivers to the WIN PE boot disk ?
