Ghost Solution Suite

Hi,

I need to upgrade the version from Ghost 2003.793 to Ghost 8.3.0 build 1331, May i know how can i do it ?

Please give me an advice.

Both are ancient releases. 

Just install and use - or do you have a specific question?  The images should work fine with the newer version.

I have used Ghost 2003 to clone a new CNC Machine Harddisk, the result is successfully, but when i put the new Harddisk to the CNC Machine, power on and boot the machine software, an error came out,

the machine hang all the way. Now i have a Ghost 8.3.0 buit image backup file, i want to try and restore it to the new Harddisk.

If you are cloning a windows 7 harddisk - did you clone BOTH partitions?  Windows 7 will not start if you fail to copy the small hidden partition at the start.

If this is not the issue, it is difficult to help you when you don't provide enough information. What was the error message you received when booting?  Your problem may have nothing to do with Ghost so you could waste a lot of time trying different versions if the issue is elsewhere.

Exactly i need to clone a CNC Machine Harddisk for backup before the original Harddisk breakup. i have bought a GHOST 2003 try to do it, i have made a Standard Ghost Boot Disk with using all default option,

Boot from CMC Machine CPU and did the Backup Original Harddisk Image was successfully, replace the Original Harddsik with the new Harddisk (Same model with the original) and did the Restore the Image successfully,

But when i boot up the CNC Machine with the new harddisk an error message came out "Service Control Manager  At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event viewer to examine the event log for details"

the Machine hang all the way.

I am thinking to use GHOST 8.3.0 built 1331 and do it again, can i upgrade the GHOST 2003 to GHOST 8.3.0 built 1331 ? or i need to buy a new set of GHOST 8.3.0, ? .

I forgot to let you know the CNC Machine Original Harddsik (FUJITSU MHT2030AT 30GB) came with 6 Partition , (DOS_SYSTEM FAT) , (NT_SYSTEM NTFS) , (NT_SERVICE NTFS) , (IMAGE FAT) , (TCO_TOPS NTFS) , (TCO_MMC NTFS)
