I'm having the same issue but I don’t see my Ghost Service account listed – in any of my builds. For SQL I see some NT Service accounts and for the database I see normal users like dbo and guest. So I added my Ghost service account but Ghost still will not start. Using my Ghost Service account, I can access the database using the SQL Management Studio. When I look at the SQL Activity Monitor on my builds where Ghost does work I see my Ghost Service account connected, but again not listed in users.
production box: Dell PowerEdge 650, 2 NIC Teamed, Windows 2012R2, Simple clean install GSS 3.1.275 with PXE, auto install of SQL, install on secondary local drive – Cannot run Ghost, PXE not running (GSS was running prior to restart, PXE never ran)
testing: VMware 5.5, Windows 2012R2, Simple clean install GSS 3.1.275 With PXE, auto install of SQL, install on system drive – Runs Ghost fine, PXE not running (PXE was running prior to restart)
testing: Dell Optiplex 9010 AIO, Windows 7 64, Simple clean install GSS 3.0.1246 with PXE, auto install of SQL, install on system drive, update direct to HF5 – All runs fine.
Also, where is the best place to look for GSS updates?
