I have a bunch of client computers running Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Server2008 R2, etc.... that I need to place an image to on my Windows 7 ghost console machine which is on the network. Our network does not have PXE running on it and I need to know how to connect to  my machine.  All of the client computers would not be joined on the network.

I have tried using the ghost boot wizard but that doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone shed some light on how to get this working?

    Thanks,

You need Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.1 with LiveUpdates to Build 2266 for compatibility with Windows 7.

Regarding Ghost Boot Wizard - it does work. However, just reporting that you cannot get it to work makes it incredibly difficult to direct you. Please describe what you have done to try and get it working, and whether you opted for a DOS or WinPE boot environment.

There are many Ghost related articles on Connect - just use the search engine for any topics you are unsure of.

so the trial I have will not work?  I have tried all of the options in the boot wizard trying to get this thing to work but it will not connect to my network.  However, in the username I cannot put in DOMAIN\USER because it doesn't allow slashes.  Again, my server does not have PXE boot loaded.  Can I put all the files that would be loaded from the network on a backup drive and carry that around and boot from an image from there?

I was under the impression that the trial version was at the latest build level - it should be easy to check.

The Ghost Boot Wizard allows you to generate WinPE boot media - CD, Flash drive, etc, which can therefore boot a system without a network connection and run a local copy of the Ghost executable.
