This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am learning how to use Symantec Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.  I just created a Boot Disk in one my machine. Can I use this disk to do image creation on my other machines? or I have to create the Boot Disk from the machine that I want to create image from? thanks

Hi

Once you have created the Ghost Boot media (CD in your case) , that can be used on any machine for imaging operations.

In case if you see any problem , see the below : -

The only thing you should take care is that the drivers (Storage / Network) of that machine has to be present in the Ghost bootable;

When you create a Ghost boot media (From Ghost Boot Wizard) it addes basic storage and network drivers ,
Ghost Boot wizard already has the set of required drivers of different vendors , Either you need to select it or add if not presen tin the list;

Best practice wouldl to add all the drivers while creating a Ghost Bootable media.
