Ghost Solution Suite

    On my laptop, I once had Windows Vista, and when I started using Ghost Solution Suite, it was working fine.  Later, I installed Windows XP on my laptop (got tired of using Vista for many reasons) and when I re-installed Ghost Solution suite again, it seems that some options were missing in Ghost.

    The trouble I have is, when I use Ghost Boot Wizard, to the point where I can choose the target for the boot package, I only get three options :

    1 - Floppy disk set;

    2 - Create ISO image;

    3 - Format disk (for USB Flash Drives);

    Before that, I had way more options than just these 3.  After this, the other isssue is on the next step, when we review the settings in the detail box, it's not possible to modify anything.  My problem is, when I absolutely need to make a bootable CD, I cannot edit the ISO image AFTER its creation to modify the protocol.ini

    Is there any way to put things like before on Windows Vista?

    Sorry, one more detail, also, when I was on Windows Vista, I was able, from the GHOST Boot Wizard, to edit the protocol.ini

    Hello,
    The ability to edit the configuration files at the end of GBW was introduced in GSS 2.5. It sounds like the version on your XP system is pre-GSS 2.5.

    Can you check the version your running by starting GBW and it should be displayed near the bottom. GSS 2.5 should be 11.5.0.nnnn where nnnn is the build number (2141 after LiveUpdate 2.) GSS 2.0 will be 11.0.0.nnnn.

    If you are running GSS 2.5 can you list the options you selected in GBW?

    Cheers,
    Jackson
