We don't have a native Linux version of the console client at present, although we have discussed it internally. There are some tricky things about getting this on the plan as something we officially support - in particular, how much of the stuff we do under Windows do we have to find some equivalent way of doing in Linux (settings configuration, some kind of inventory, and whether we have some equivalent to the Virtual Partition system) and of that subset, what specific Linux distributions we test on and claim official support for.
Basically, we need more customers to tell us that they want this and how they plan to use it so that we can make a case to management to fund it.
I gather that some customers are using the Ghost Boot Partition and some scripts of their own devising to shut down linux and enter the GBP as something of a halfway measure in the meantime, but that's all I know.
