    Hi Rajeev,

can you tell us a bit more about your scenario?
What version of Ghost are you using?
What is the operating system onto which you are trying to remote install?

Once we know the answers to the above questions we can have a deeper look at your problem.
    Thanks

I installed GSS (8.0) at one Windows XP. I have the same problem when I tried to install client remotely. By searching the discussions before, I did following steps:
    1. Enabled "File and Printer Sharing"
    2. At Enter client Domain and machine name:
    domain\computer name
    user: machine name\administrator
    password

I still get the error message of: Failed to install:
\\computername(30): copy files: locations could not be determined.

    Any advice is welcome.

MQ - thanks for posting your findings.

Rajeev - can you try and follow MQ's steps on your client computer to ensure your computers are prepared for Remote Client Install?
    1. In Windows Explorer go to Tools->Folder Options and select View.
    2. Scroll down the list and uncheck "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)"
    3. Enable Remote Registry service

Remote Client Install should take care of any older Ghost client software installed already on your client by ugrading it and redirecting it to use your console computer. However, sometimes it is a good idea to uninstall any old Ghost software "just in case" - for example, if you have Ghost Standard Tools installed on a computer then no other Ghost software can be installed on it untill Standard Tools are removed.

    Hope this helps
