  • 1.  Ghost Clients not reporting to Console

    Hi,

     

    I have a total of 7 clients that are not reporting to the console.  I do have many clients that are reporting.  I running version 11.5.02113. Server 2003.

     

    I'm relatively new to Symantec Ghost.  Your help is appreciated!

    Hi,
    1) First, please make sure that the number of clients you have doesn't exceed the number of clients console is registered for.
    2) Are the console and the clients on different subnets? Also, is there a firewall enabled on the console or on the clients?
    3) Can you check if the clients are displayed in 'Network' folder in console, under their corresponding subnet?
    4) By any chance, do you have a 3Com PXE server running on the console machine?

    Thanks for replying Adina.
    1. We are registered for 90 clients and are only using 71.
    2. We are on 1 subnet and the firewall is disabled on the console and the clients.
    3. The clients do not appear in the "Network" folder

    4. We are not running 3ComPEX


     
    Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.
