Ghost console client and WinPE2

Is there a way to have the ghost console client report back to the Ghost Console through a WinPE 2.0 environment?

I'm looking for a way to centrally manage machines that are getting imaged with multiple images a day.  The solution that we have currently is to have the DOS console client connect to the server and handle the imaging that way, however, I'd like to begin to move this process over to WinPE.

Has anyone here accomplished this task yet?

Hi Tim,

Unfortunately, currently we do not support console client on any version of WinPE.

So there is no easy way to do this till that support is available.

So then, currently the only way to do this type of deployment process is to use the Ghost32 executable and run a GhostCast server to capture or deploy the images?

Hi Tim,

Currently, yes.

But you probably need to do this only if you have any issues of using DOS. Once it is setup, you need not to think about pre-os when using Console.

I replied to your message too.
