  • 1.  Ghost Console - Computers reporting with MAC address

    Hi, 

    I'm having an issue in the Ghost Console (11.5.1.2266) where computers are showing up with their MAC address instead of the host name. I tried deleting them, but they come back with the MAC address again. Tried updating the Machconf.dll file both in the server and client computers and nothing. Also tried reinstalling the ghost client in the computers. I can't send any tasks to the computers and nothing shows up under the configuration tab.

     

    Any suggestions?

    Are these real or virtual computers?

    If they are actual hardware computers, it may help to know what version and what bios release.

    These are real computers. Problem is I don't know what all of them are. 

    I know 1 of them is a Dell Optiplex 755.

    If Console client is installed on the machine , try running Refresh Configuration task fron console and see id this updates configuration.

    I tried. It just fails.
