Ghost Explorer throws "Invalid drive details. This probably isn't a Ghost image file." error
Issue:
When attempting to open a valid and non-corrupted .GHO file in Ghost Explorer, the error "Invalid drive details. This probably isn't a Ghost image file." appears. If anything, that error message is misleading as the image is an actual Ghost file and is not corrupted.
Caveats:
Simple partition to image was created for a standard NTFS file system using Ghost 8.3 and attempting to open that image in Ghost Explorer 2003.789. I acquired Explorer through:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/pr...
Note that spanning/RAID/SCSI/EFS/etc. was not used while creating the image.
Question:
Is there a different version of Explorer I should be using to view my existing Ghost files? I could find no documentation on backwards or forward compatibility between these two versions. The image is in perfect shape as I can re-image the partition back to that same image without any error.
Thanks in advance for any feedback on the above!

Questions
What boot system or operating system are you running Ghost Explorer on ?
What "standard NTFS" file system have you imaged? What was the native version of Windows that created this NTFS file system ? (as there are different versions of NTFS depending on O/S)

I was running Ghost Explorer
I was running Ghost Explorer on both Windows 7 (32-bit) and Windows XP (32-bit) with the same results.
The image I took was of an NTFS partition without compression or encryption on that partition (that's what I meant by "standard"). Windows XP 32-bit was the native OS that performed the formatting of the NTFS partition.
