Hi. I have a lenovo s10, which does not come with a OS cd. It has a recovery key but the key is broken.....Anyway, So, I got an original image and want to restore my pc to the factory default using the image. So, I burned ghost to a cd using a usb cd burner, I then put the .GHO file of the image onto a thumb drive. The instructions say boot from the cd drive, then plug in the thumb drive while it's booting. For some reason ghost can't find my thumb drive when I select local -> disk -> from image. It only gives me drives like a: Local drive, b: local drive, etc.... And can't detect my thumb drive. Anyone know how to restore my pc?

Oh, and I also tried booting from the thumb drive, it doesn't do anything.

I guess, usb-support is enabled in your bios. You need to create a media with USB-support. You can enable this under the Ghost boot wizzard.
Tell me, if this worked for you.

    Hello:

I am new to these forums, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using Ghost 9 for several years with much success.  However, the optical drive on my notebook is no longer functioning.

Is it possible to create a bootable USB key and run Norton Ghost 9 from it?  My operating system is Windows XP Professional.

    Thanks,

    Grayson Lee
