I have recently received a new image that my company has sent out. We baseline all our PCs to a certain organizational standard. The image i have received came on an external HDD. When trying to use it, we were getting several errors, it was narrowed down after some troubleshooting that segment 8 out of 9 was corrupted. By the way I am using Symantec Ghost v.11.0.1. We very much need this image to work and it has been difficult getting another copy of this image. Another thing that has been striking me odd, when running Ghost32.exe to check the integrity of the image it keeps asking me to insert the next disk, I hit browse and select the next segment and it continues. But this image is stored on an HDD so why is it acting like its reading it from a CD/DVD. Any help would be much appreciated. I have exhausted most of my time and energy on this problem and it's becoming a nuisance.
