  • 1.  Ghost not seeing the c: drive of laptop

    Hi y'all...
A small thing that is driving me sideways: client with small budget so it's a very simple rollout process. We use the Ghost 10.0 cd to boot into 8 and create an image of the pc / laptop onto an admin drive of the client's.

Machines are IBM / Lenovo laptop s and pc's and to date have not had any problems.

Latest SOE introduction has been the replacement of the R52 laptop with the R60e laptop - Ghost does not see the HDD on these new machines *at all*. Got me shaking my head...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    D

Should also have noted the error message - my apologies.

returns a message saying: no valid source drive to choose - 11032

    Thanks again :)  D

All fixed...found that unlike the earlier R series the new ones have the SATA drive running in AHCI mode as default and not compatbility mode in the bios.

Maybe this will help someone else!

    Cheers!
