I currently use 'Ghost with RIS' which is great, it requires no network drivers. I have simply created a PXE boot option through the boot wizard, and the clients F12 boot to the 'remote installation services' menu and it finds the Ghost session running on the server.
However now Windows Deployment Services (WDS) is on 2008 R2 I can't use RIS. How can I achieve the same using WDS?
What is the recommended bare metal restore procedure, I don't really want to have to mess around with dos NIC drivers or boot partitions on every computer etc.
