 Hello,

As I understand, you are trying to simultaneously create 10 images with Ghost to a network-attached storage device? I would recommend staggering the operation so that all operations do not start at the same time. Depending on your network infrastructure, there could be bandwidth issues. Or you could limit data throughput in the options on the Ghostcast Server. If this does not answer what you needed, can you clarify what exactly you are asking?

Thank you,

Randy

Dear support, Thank you the

Dear support,

Thank you the support

The problem is that in different places, backup data to a computer so the image on the network, "Ghost server" will it be uploaded at the same time the number of computers and , if so , what hardware and software requirements and network settings, etc .... for example, (Ghost server Version , network port release )

Thank you very much,
Cheong

Hi

I am just elaborating Randy's comments;

TO take the image of 10 PC's at the same time and storing in Network storage mainly requires that you should have

1. Enough free network bandwidth (Better if you have 1GB network card and switch)
2. Make sure you have changed the data throughput limit to 1000 mb/min (by default its 500)
3. Make sure you have latest Ghost server version , the latest version is  - 11.2.5.2266 (That is LU5)
4. Remember that while doing the Create image operation , Ghost cast creates different sessions for each image creation ,
Where as in case of deploying (restore) a image on multiple machine at the same time can be possible if you select the multicast
and for this your network should support multicast transfer (Specially you need multicast switch)

Thank you very much I use

Thank you very much

I use the command line is "Ghost -Quiet -FRO -Z2 -sure - pwd -clone,dst=@MCUserName,Src=1"

1. i don't want show question (e.g.1832 proceed with image file creation?)

2. Z2 and Z3 switch will slow how many minute (e.g. z2 30minute , z3 ??minute)

switches

hello,

1. Use of the -sure switch should eliminate the question already; if not, try -batch as well.

2. -z2 actually speeds up the process, since less data is transferred. -z3 and higher will slow it down, but there is no specific amount of time; it all depends on how much data is involved, speed of the processor, etc.
