Hello:
I'm unable to get Ghost to perform any Sysprep functions. I'm running Ghost on a Windows 2003 platform. Ghost version is 11.5.1.2266. My goal is to be able perform a Sysprep/Image Capture of a Windows 7 (SP1 64-bit) desktop.
Imaging on its own works perfectly fine as it always has. My problem is with the Sysprep function. I have tried numerous configurations but always end up with the same result which is that the Windows 7 system produces some dialogue and then reboots itself without performing the Sysprep. I always have to reboot it a second time after this function before it will reconnect to the PXE Server.
I tried using the Windows 7 (64-bit) configuration built into Ghost but that doesn't work. I then tried copying all the Windows 7 Sysprep files onto the Ghost Server and adding my own configuration. When I browse for my Sysprep files it locates them and displays the following:
Supported OS: N/A
Sysprep.exe: 6.1.7600.16385
SysprepCL.exe: 6.1.7601.17514
When I click on the OK button nothing happens. It never lets me go any further and consequently doesn't allow me to add my own config.
I have read all of Chapter 23 of the Implemention Guide and think I'm doing everything as described but just can't get it to work. I've included a couple of screenshots.
Am I missing something? It would be a lifesaver to get this to work.
