Ghost Solution Suite

Guten Tag, wir verwenden Symantec Ghost zum Verteilen von Images auf ca. 40 Rechner. Da der Ghost-Client vor der Verteilung installiert wird, wird in der Ghost Console bei allen Rechnern der gleiche Computername angezeigt. Wir verwenden zwar ein Skript, welches den Computernamen nachträglich ändert, allerdings wird dieser geänderte Name nur unter --> Eigenschaften --> Bestand in den Details angezeigt, nicht in der Console selbst. Gibt es dazu irgendeine Lösung? Außer selbst umbenennen? Mit freundlichen Grüßen, IDV

We use Symantec Ghost to distribute images to about 40 computers. As the Ghost client is installed before the distribution is shown in the Ghost Console on all computers of the same computer name.

Although we use a script that the computer name changes later, but this is only changed name to -> properties -> stock appears in the details, not the console itself

Is there any solution? In addition to rename itself?

Yes you can run refresh Configuration task. Go to Tasks and open refresh invetory task which is readily available. Go to properties and select refresh configuration and execute the task. Hope this will solve your problem.
