I have two locations with the same hardware on two independent networks, with a Ghost Server at each location.

Location one I have upgraded Ghost via Live Update to be compatible with W7/Server 2008 - works fine - however, the updates seemed to initially cause more harm than good once updated.

Location two, I have yet to upgrade via Live Update to be compatible with W7/2008, predominately due to issues with Ghost I encountered the first time through at location one. Therefore, I'd like to hold off on upgrading this Ghost Server until absolutely necessary.

All that being said, assuming both locations have identical hardware, can I pull a W7/Server 2008 image from location one, with the updated Ghost Server, and deploy the image to the second location using the non-upgraded Ghost Server without errors?

How long would it take you to test this in practice?

That is going to give you a far more reliable answer than I suspect we can offer without knowing your environment in a lot more detail.

It wouldnt take long I suppose... I simply was wondering if anyone had achieved something similar since the update became available via live update.

It's perfectly possible that someone else has done this, so give it a couple of days and see whether anyone can pass on their direct experiences.
