Boot wizard
chrisman,
Assuming no errors are occurring, here is the method to use:
1. Open the Ghost Boot Wizard.
2. Select Windows PE, then Next.
3. Select Standard Ghost Boot Disk, then Next.
4. Next.
5. Leave the Client settings blank, then Next.
6. Leave it set to DHCP, then Next.
7. Choose CD/DVD, then Next.
8. Next twice more.
That shoulb be it.
um.....yes....I used that
um.....yes....I used that method........the problem I'm having is that it is not "bootable"......

Are you creating an .ISO?
Make sure that you are not
Make sure that you are not creating an ISO and then recording it as a file to a CD. Select "writing to a CD" when selecting media type in Ghost boot wizard.

To backup Eugene's statement, some third party cd burning utilities will label the function as 'burn image to disk' or 'burn disk image to disk'.
first...thanks to everyone
first...thanks to everyone that is replying.......I probably should have explained myself better.......ok.....I was able to resolved one issue.......I found out that if I just install Ghost Solution Suite 2.5 and don't do the "live update" that I can create my Bootable Windows PE Boot Disk without a problem....Ghost version 11.5.0.2113 (still not sure why that is). Also I found a document somewhere online that gave me the following instructions to create a PE Boot Disk......can someone verify if what I have below is correct:
After applying the latest upgrade, open Ghost Boot Wizard, and note the version and build at the bottom to the left of the copyright. It must be 11.5.0.2.2141 or later.
Select Windows PE. Click next.
Select Standard Ghost Boot Disk. Click next
Leave the defaults for Client type. Click next
Leave the defaults for Network Client Configuration. Click next
Leave defaults for Network Client Address unless you need static IP. Click next
Select Create ISO Image. Give it a name and location. Check the box marked support for bootable CDs/DVDs. Click next
IMPORTANT: Click Add....and then click Add....again and add your .GHO file. In the destination folder on media field, type "image" and then click OK. Click next.......Click next one more to finish and create the ISO.
You are now ready to burn your ISO file to a DVD. Ensure whichever media you choose has enough space. If your .GHO file(s) take up more space than can fit on 1, you will need to put just the .GHO file on the bootable disk, and the spanned image files (.GHS extension) on other DVDs.
Once burned to a DVD, boot DVD on your client machine.
When Ghost loads.....
select local.....
select disk......
select from Image....
select the drop down menu and select the option that is D: [GHBOOTCD] CD Rom/DVD drive.....
Open the image folder.....
select your .GHO file....click open..........
select your destination drive/partition.....click OK......click OK again...
proceed with disk restore......
