    Hi,

Sorry, we missed your first post.

What version of Ghost do you use?

When running configuration, does it boot to DOS (or WinPE depending your configuration)?

In clone tasks, what does task log say?

Im running Ghost GSS 2.5 ver. 11.5.0.13

I got an error when installing the client, that Vista was not compatible with Ghost.

Im  have tried Both the Win PE and the PC dos, neither will start the clone task.

There is no problem in starting the Configuration task ???

After upgrading one client to Vista Business, it can do everything (Clone, Config Dump )

Is there anything to do with Firewall, printer sharing or other ??

    Hi,

Remote client installation is not supported for Vista Home. Did you try installing it manually?

Did you consider using PXE boot or similar to clone them, instaed of getting the client install on those systems?

After a new dos driver, some fixes in the pci.manifest.txt and a manually installed client, I'm able to ghost my clients.  The funny part was that after installing the client, they came in fine in the console, but I wasn't able to anything but configuration (of cause without the domain thing).

    But now its working.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

A workaround could also be starting a ghost multicast task with an USB stick....but then it would be without the configuration.
