Ghost32 encryption strength?

Can anyone say what level of image encryption (if at all) is provided by ghost32 v.11?  I've seen Ghost32 error logs posted on this forum that suggest  that the -pwd command switch provides some sort encryption.   Is it just the password that gets encrypted, or the full image?  Have not been able to find a definitive answer so far.  Thanks!

Obfuscation rather than encryption

The method used by Ghost to password-protect images is cryptographically weak to the point where it can't really be called encryption; setting a password does obfuscate all the data in the image but the level of protection provided for it is only against casual inspection, and will not stand up against any kind of determined attacker. At best, the -pwd switch should be considered as being only a weak form of access control.
