I've been having a problem with DS 7.6; I have a ticket open with Symantec that they're supposedly working on, but I'm curious as to if anyone else here has experienced this. Here we go:
- Brand-new fresh install of DS 7.6 with no package server, single-server installation with only 500 clients, but MS SQL 2014 Express on a separate server. Both servers are running Windows Server 2012 R2.
- Whenever I try to create or deply an image, Ghost64.exe throws the following error:
...after which the image deploys perfectly. After some quality phone time with Symantec, it appears that HTTPS is failing and the system is failing back to UNC. "Just hit OK" is not a solution, since I'd like this to *work properly*, and hitting OK is not an option for imaging a 45-station computer lab or for situations where I'm not physically present at the computer being imaged.
This happens every time, without fail, whenever I try to create an image, deploy an image from the automation folder (I don't use PXE), or deploy an image from a boot .iso created with Bootwiz.
Has anyone else seen this or has a solution?
Thanks!
