I am receiving a couple of warning messages when imaging.

Create Machine Account:  failed to create an administrative connection to the domain controller me.mbgov.ca:  The referenced account is currently locked and may not be logged into.

Post Configuration Status:  failed to join domain me.mbgov.ca:  Logon failure:  unknown username or bad password.

There are 2 Post Configuration Status instances.  The first one is the error shown above and the second one is successful.

Ultimately, the machine does end up joining to the domain by itself.  But having the settings come over properly is another story that I have not figured out yet.

    What do these messages mean?

    Thanks.

Does anybody know how I can troubleshoot this?  Where to look within the console, client?

Error number one sounds like your consoles domain account for creating/joining domain is locked out.  The second sounds like a bad usename/pass error you might see when trying to authenticate with an account that is locked out.  Sounds like you might want to check the AD to see if the account is locked out and/or the console service account information to make sure the username/password is correct.

This also all assumes that the console service account has the proper object privileges within the domain to create/delete computer accounts in the OU's you are working with.

So I guess I'm out of luck since I do not have any of that account information right?
