Hello, I am currently running Ghostcast 11.5. Server Suite. I am trying to image Lenovo T510's but running into a problem when running multicast. I am getting the error "Unable to find DHCP". I'm using a dummy Cisco 3750 switch. My DHCP, PXE, and TFTP is the 3com software that comes with the suite. I can connect to the Ghostcast session but as soon as I try connecting to multicast it stops and gives me the above error. I have been using it on my T520's and it works fine. I only run into this problem with the T510's.

Multicast requires IGMP snooping enabled on the switch. Does unicast work?

I added IGMP snooping to the switch but nothing changed. Multicast works for my T520's. Unicast is the same problem. It makes it to the ghost session but will not connect to the ghostcast server

Are you booting to a DOS or WinPE virtual partition?  My guess would be a problem with the NIC driver.

Do both models use the same NIC chipset?

I have been using a PC-DOS as the boot image. I have read WinPE tends to work better but I am not familiar with the steps on making it work with 3com. Could it possibly be something with the BIOS. I have read that that can sometimes be the problem. The T510 has an Intel (R) 82577LM Gigabit NIC. The T520 has Intel Pro1000 LAN Adapter

Did you create a new dos boot image with an Intel Pro 1000 driver in it?
