    Hello all,
     
    Can anyone help me with this?
    One client of mine has this question, and i cannot find which is the version.
     
    I have call to symantec headquarters, commercial and technical department, and they cannot solve my answer.

    The version numbers of almost everything in GSS are kept the same (because they are all rebuilt from source fresh every time), so the internal version number will be 11.0.0.1502 or 11.0.1.1533

    The GhostCast system uses the same basic protocol as in earlier versions, and we've tried to make it so that Ghost and GhostCast are as widely interoperable as possible.

    Before Ghost 8, you basically always had to use Ghost and GhostCast from the same build, since the format of some of the network data changed incompatibly quite often; that's still best, but if you need to any version of Ghost from 8.0 forward[*] should be able to retrieve an image from the current GhostCast server.

    Edit: Not including "Norton Ghost" 9, 10, or 12 which are Windows-only single-user consumer backup programs based on different technology from all other Ghost versions.
