  • 1.  GhostCode 19945 connection timeout with HP DL380 G6

    Hi, I'm trying to take an image from a HP DL380 G6. I can PXE boot the server into Ghost but when I try to take the image, I get a timeout error on the DL380 and the GhostCast Server session reports 'Connection reset by Client'. Any help would be most appreciatted.

    What version of Ghost Solution Suite are you running?

    Are you booting to PCDOS or WinPE?

    The nature of the error suggests that your NIC driver is not functioning correctly, whether in PCDOS or in WinPE.

    In addition, if you are booting PCDOS and your HP system uses a SATA hard disk, then PCDOS will be unable to access your hard disk as PCDOS has no SATA support.  We would strongly recommend using WinPE as the boot environment for modern hardware, but for this you need to be running GSS 2.5.1.
