that is have all parttion as ntfs that is mean i can't get Letter to any partition.
and for farther way need to use two this cammnd in my batch for some Maintenance use as an admin.

Are you running your batch file under DOS or WinPE?

You could use SUBST to map a drive letter to a specific folder path and then reference that drive letter in your batch file.

If you have SATA hard disks you may find that DOS cannot see them unless the bios has a compatibility mode option and the option is set.

What hardware are you trying to image, and what operating system?

I assume your first language is not English, so I would like to check whether I understand your original question correctly.

Are you trying to create a DOS boot device that will boot up, create an image of the C: partition to the D: partition and then terminate?

Also - one more question. If you boot your system to DOS, can you see files and folders on both the source and the target partitions?

The save destination is specified with the dst switch. Have a look at this tech article:

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH106615&locale=en_US

In your case, the dst parameter would be set to d:\ghost\filename.gho

Perhaps if you can specify the ghost command line you are using we can check if it is correct.

In reply to your question about language, it is not a single word that tells me your first language is not English - it is more about the sentence structure. For example:

second your assume is right my first language is arabic and i'am from egypt

    would normally be written:

Secondly, your assumption is right, my first language is Arabic and I'm from Egypt. (I am not sure what you were asking by "do you come before?" - could it be: "have you been to Egypt before?")

The apostrophe in I'm indicates that one or more letters have been omitted.

Hence I'm is short for I am,  I've is short for I have,  I'll is short for I will.

    Hope this helps!

        but when i used this

    Try this line:

     "ghost.exe -clone,mode=pcreate,src=1:1,dst=d:\ghost\Win_Xp.gho -rb -auto -z9"

However, if you are not sure if d:\ghost exists, then you can create it first. The following batch code checks if the folder exists and skips to :NEXT if it does, or if it does not exist, creates it first. However, as you point out, this code would only work on a FAT32 partition unless you are running under WinPE rather than just PCDOS.

    IF EXIST D:\GHOST\NUL GOTO NEXT

    CD D:\

    MD GHOST

    :NEXT

Should you wish to get familiar with WinPE, you could reference this article:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/readyadventures-winpe

It uses the same version of WinPE as the version that is included with the latest Ghost Solution Suite.

I have not visited Egypt, but my mother was there with the Polish medical forces during the second world war, and had many fond memories of the country and the people.

"and an another question for some error that i get in mostly

Using WinPE, you can use the built in utility "Diskpart" to both wipe and format partitions, assign drive letter s and set partitions active.

Within Ghost, the GDISK.EXE utility can do much the same from within a DOS environment.
