Ghosting Dell E6400 with Windows PE

Hi,

I'm using OS Server 2008 on a Dell E6400 laptop which is acting as the DHCP & File server for 21 E6400 laptops. I've configured it to use push Windows PE to the clients which then runs Ghost 32 to image the laptop clients. I'm using the Intel Vista Ultimate 82567LM NIC drivers (E1K6032.INF) and it works for 3 of the E6400 laptops consistently. If I time it just right I can ghost up to 8 of these laptops at a time. The trouble is if I start say 3 at a time and then another 2 about 5 minutes later I'll often (but not always) get it failing either trying to get the DHCP address or after Windows PE downloads to the laptop and the wpeinit (startnet.cmd) starts it will fail to retain it's ip address it received from DHCP and give a 169.XXXX loopback ip.

I have been able to Ghost up to 8 of these E6400's at a time. I'm able to consistently Ghost with 9 Dell D810's and 1 E6400 starting them at different intervals but as soon as I have more than 3 E6400's ghosting at one time I run into problems. I know the server can handle the load, although it slows down with more ghost clients, as the 9 D 810's and 1 E6400 prove. These laptops are being ghosted through out the day multiple times as soon as a patron returns them.

Any ideas on how to fix this??

Thanks for any help
