GhostUser Migration can't check .ump files for most recent changes / new .ump's are created.

Greetings,

I'm executing User Captures with a User Migration Template.
Is there a way to have this do a check and not have a new .ump file created each time I do a backup.

I.E. "For instance" if I backup 20Gb of a user's data on WEEK1 and only one file changes, on WEEK2 how to I capture that updated file in the same .ump?

I have 1000 pc's to backup, 2TB user data, 3 TB storage, soo after 1 backup I would be out of space and would have to start deleting the first backup's to make room for the 2nd.
Additionally, that will be an extreme amount of extra network traffic to capture all the data each time.

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated.

USING Ghost Console v11.5.0.2113 or "2.5"

Best Regards,

If you are after a backup

If you are after a backup feature then SUM is not what you want. You want to use incremental backup when you capture an entire image once and then you capture just the differences every week or whatever your schedule is.

SUM is a user migration feature that allows you to migrate from one version of OS or any supported product to another version, eg. from Win98 to WinXP, from Adobe reader 6 to  Adober reader 9 and so on. It will not just restore the settings but will also "massage" them during restore so it fits new version of the product in question. You can use it as a one off backup but it is not designed for as a regular backup tool and performance-wise it will never even come close to cloning engines.
