Global Exclude Selections options Missing

Created: 08 Nov 2013 | 8 comments

Hi,

I have just upgraded our backup exec from 2010 to 2012. I am trying to change the job default exclude selections, but I am missing the edit buttons (delete, modify, insert). all I see is a list of the global exclusions that I set up in backup exec 2010. How do modify the exclude selections.

I have attached a screen shoot.

Thanks

Jason

Hi,

Thanks for the help but this link only describes how to exclude files.

Maybe I have not described the problem. I cannot modify the current global file exclusions because the modify buttons (delete, modify, insert) are missing from the GUI. The following link describes these buttons which I am missing:

Thanks

Jason

Hello,

if you highlight one of your Exclude entries do you get the modify, delete options?

Right like Lenora said, the modify, delete buttons would get enabled once you select the entries and the Insert buttton should get enabled after you type someting in that box.

Hi,

Thanks for the help but I have tried selecting the exclude entries but nothing happens, no modify buttons.

Here is a screen shoot of "Exclude - *.wma [Subdir]" selected:-

Try running a repair from the control panel on Backup Exec.
