highlight the group that is giving you the problem (Not showing the shield) then towards the middle ...

I want to be able to see this. The Gold shield with the green indicator showing that connectivety has been established. I did not change anything, but now I don't believe it is being displayed on any of my clients. 11 RU 5

If you are RDP you wont be able to see it :
are you local to the box?
i think once we did check the box; display client option
under clients policies tab
location specific -server control -customize
have you enabled show clients?

What happen , when you got to All Program--> Symantec-->Symantec Endpoint Protection
Does it opnes the UI or gives an error
If it gives the error what is the error?

No error messages, and it is still being managed by my SEPM server. The program opens with no problems or errors. Definitions are current, and I am being protected.

highlight the group that is giving you the problem (Not showing the shield) then towards the middle of the screen on top you havea tabs clients- policies-details-install packages---click on policiesunder location specific policies and settings go to location - specific settings and click on server control whatever radio button is selected click the customize button on the top of the screen you have display the client and display the notification area icon check both of them and the shield will show up.
