My similar experience and resolution ...

I get this in my home PC which I don't switch on for a few days if the week is hectic. And because of this updates got missed out. So ensure that you give your PC a reboot and once you login start Symantec and choose Fix ALL.

The LuALL and other Live Update should pull all pertinent updates and update the engine. The red should go away automatically. I suggest a reboot because the updates are large and hence the Task Manager may spike if there are lot of processes running.

Hi Techshan,

Can you proved us with more details of your environment?

  • SEP version
  • OS and service pack
  • Number of clients with the issue

You can start off by following this "Troubleshooting LiveUpdate Issues with Symantec Endpoint protection" document.

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/t...

Best,

Thomas

Might be due to corrupt

Might be due to corrupt definition..Delete all the definitions and update the client from the internet ( allow this client to launch Liveupdate..once done disable Manual Liveupdate )

Exactly which errors and

Exactly which errors and warnings are shown in the Support Tool?  There's usually a bit more info than what's in the SEP product interface.
