  • 1.  GSS 2 with several errors

    I have installed GSS 2 (Ghost Console 11.0.0.1502) on a new XP Pro SP2 computer.  I have installed the clients on Server 2003 SP1, XP Pro SP2, and Windows 2000 SP 4. 
     
    The local Server 2003 computers will complete the backup regime with no issues.
     
    The XP Pro and 2000 clients fail during the backup regime.  Normally during the 12th step, Clone.
     
    And finally on a 2000 client never completes the user migration task.  The last message in the log is Send user migration options - Success.  The folder where the migration data is to write remains empty.
     
    All of the above computers are on the same subnet.
     
    One client does not apprear on the Console, it is on a seperate subnet, the client's system tray icon shows it is connected..

    Hi Eric,
     
    There is a LiveUpdate available for your system which will take you up to 11.0.1.1533. Could you apply the LiveUpdate before we continue?

    We're having the same issue - automatic backups on XP pro machines failing at the clone step.  Using the latest update.  Manually started backups work fine.
