If by that you mean specifically will the GSS user migration feature be able to restore user profiles taken on other Windows editions to Windows 7, that is indeed a part of the product that is being looking at to support Windows 7 in the next LiveUpdate to GSS2.5

The release date for that update should be posted at http://www.symantec.com/business/theme.jsp?themeid=windows7 under the "Product Support Dates" tab when it is closer to release and a more specific date is available (as Symantec is a public company, release dates are material information for investors which means there is a very particular process for announcing them, so any date on that page should be the most current information).
