  • 1.  GSS 3.0 Agents not visible to console.

    We have installed GSS 3.0 in 2 different servers, one is a Windows 2008/R2 and the other is Windows Server 2012 Std. Both of these server have GSS 2.51 on them as well. When we deploy the Agent to the Windows 7 workstation they do not show up in the console. 

    Any ideas?

    Check following settings :

    • All services are in running sate at server side(Specially Altiris eXpress Server).
    • Check agent service at client machine.
    • Firewall should be off on client as well as server machine.
    • Verify agent settings to know whether client is pointing to correct server.
    • In GSS console verify you have valid license count(more than zero).

    Make a new Firewall Rule on  your server.

    Inbound - port 401,402,5001,5002 - TCP.

    After several seconds the agent then popups on the client and will be added to the console.
