    I can't seem to create images using GSS of my HP7900 with Intel 8257LM-3 network card.

    I have run Live Update.

    I have tried downloading intel network drivers (vista) and creating a modifed WINPE-512 package.

    I get the following error in SGC for this computer computer:
    Network settings when using virtual partition
     Unknown PCI identifiers: 32902:4318

    Please Help

    Geoff

    We have about 500 of those computers.

    I would recommend copying the original WinPE template and then you will want to edit it and add the nic driver.  There are other steps to modify the manifests.   I will look around on the forums for you and post back the link to the directions.  Once you do that it will work fine.  Oh, if you have AHCI enabled in the bios then you should be getting two errors.  One for the AHCI driver and one for the NIC.

    Here is the link for adding drivers to winpe:

    You will also need to read here about modifying the manifest file:

    Both network and storage drivers added to a copy of WinPE

    I found the following on the thread linked above

    will explain problem and solution.
    I found when driver(s) are added using Ghost Boot Wizard and selected to be included in WinPE, in “drivers.manifest” for that driver there is
    }),
    internal = 0,
    selected = 0
    If is like this change to
    }),
    internal = 0x1,
    selected = 0x1
    And everything will work perfectly fine.

    But I don't know what it means, how to fix it.

    I found the driver manifest file.

    Made the change and everything is working again.

    Thanks
