please help.
While taking an image of a model computer,Acer Veriton X270 with Nvidia nforce nic, i made the restore task. With the previous version of GSS we never had this trouble with XPpro.
Configuration as it is made when installing the client, domain etc etc..
When i execute the restore task, It wakes the computer it attemps to boot from the virtual partition there it fails. The taking of the image was no problem. We are trying to restore a vista enterprise with the clone part of GSS2.5 b2165.
I can't get it to work. some help please
When you open the task log, what step does the task fail on? When you right-click the step that failed and select event details, what are the reasons it failed?
Posting contents of the ghosterr.txt will help as well. You can find it under Console task step that failed to execute - right-click to get menu popup.
that's the first thing i do when something failes. But when you look in the forum there is al lot that can go wrong. If you surch with google "boot to virtual partition failed " look at the amount of hits.
