  • 1.  GSS3.1 MP3 - Driver letters

    Hi all,

    I posted a reference to this in an ealier thread, but wanted to separate it out so it's easier for others to find.

    We upgraded to MP3 this morning, and following installation, we were not able to successfully deploy an image. We would get the following error in the GHOSTERR log file:

        Error Number: 10010

        Message: Cannot open image file N:\. []

     

    This would happen regardless of the drive being used, N or M (both were mapped and accessible in automation).

    The workaround to this particular issue was to change the upper case drive letter to a lower case drive letter in the distribute image task and the issue was resolved.

    I have logged a support case and will keep you posted with any updates.

    Do you have any feedback from Symantec Support ?

    This is addressed in MP3 v2 that should be out shortly.  If you already have MP3 installed then let support know and we can get you the updated ghost32 or ghost64 files to put in your MP3 environment.

    This issue has now been resolved with Ghost Solution Suite 3.1 MP3 V2 or MP4, both should be available from fileconnect.symantec.com with a valid serial.
