    GUP showing false in SEPM

    Kindly find Event log

    Faulting application Smc.exe, version 11.0.6100.480, faulting module GUProxy.plg, version 11.0.6100.480, fault address 0x00002733.

    Hi,

    Can you please explain what do you mean by false in SEPM?

    You may try using the latest version of SEP 11 RU 7 MP1 and test if it results same?

    Where the Gup system placed in your Console??

    Hi SKP

    Gup is required to place on that location where you can assign the GUP policy.

    Then it will come as a Gup Role and status will be come True.

    Hi,

    there are known issues in your SEP version regarding the GUP, please migrate to RU7 MP1 (11.0.7101) or the coming RU7 MP2 and let us know if it helps.

    Hello,

    This issue has been fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 Release Update 7 (RU7).  For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection, read TECH 103088: Obtaining an upgrade or update for Symantec Endpoint Protection or Symantec Network Access Control.
