I need to implement the GUP configuration in order distribuite the signature updates to a group of clients that cannot reach the SEPM.

I have created the following LU GUP policy where 192.168.251.225 is the ip of the GUP machine. Now all the clients knows that must point to their GUP to raceive the update.

I don't understand how I can define that the machine with ip=192.168.251.225 is the GUP machine.

Must I assign to the GUP machine the same LU GUP policy?

How are you going to get the clients to pickup the policy to know they should get updates from the GUP if they cannot reach the SEPM? But yes same policy would need to be applied.

Yes you can assign it with LU policy.

Follow the step to configure the gup on that group where you require to assign it

for all clients I will install a new SEP package with the LU GUP policy. For clients the policies will be always the same (for this reason is not important if they not able to contact the SEPM). Clients must only receive the signature updates...
