Gup modification

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I am surfing on net and found there is some modification in latest Gup. Anybody confirm what is the change in Gup and if i will upgrade the server any effect on running Gup?

Yes It's changes only SEP 12.1 RU2

The changes to the GUP policy are considerate - depending on your current settings you may want to change the policy after the upgrade to 12.1 ru2. If you had only the single GUP or multiple GUP in the policy - you should be still fine after upgrade - the way it work will be the same.
If you have been using the so called "backup" GUP you need to look into the changes inthe policy as the "backup GUP" option is no longer available.
The new explicit GUP setting allows you to assign a certain subnet of client machines to get updates for specific GUP.

--> There won't be any effect on running GUP because it's not auto discovery feature.
Now clients have the ability to roam to a GUP outside of their own subnet, rather than their ability to find a nearest GUP. In previous SEP versions, the clients would only connect to a GUP outside of their own subnet, if such a GUP was configured as "backup" GUP.
