    Hi,

    The GUP status keeps changing to false automatically.

    SEPM and SEP client version: 11 RU6 MP1.

    Below entries were present in the registry.

    "UseMasterClient"=dword:00000001
    "MasterClientHost"="yavixp11-2"
    "MasterClientPort"="2967"

    Kindly advice.....!!!

    I have assigned one GUP

    GUP and the SEP clients are in the same subnet.

    There is no rule for GUP.

    "MasterClientHost"="yavixp11-2"
    "MasterClientPort"="2967"

    Hi,

    The entry is present in the registry but on the SEPM the GUP status states false and the clients are getting updates directly from SEPM and causing bandwidth issues.

    Hi,

    Reassign the GUP role to SEP client.

    Sylink monitor logs can give more clear picutre why clients are not receiving updates from GUP.

    It's not recommended (becuase GUP is not working ) but still for time being If you don't want client to reach at SEPM, you can change setting to never option.
